He has composed music for several films and TV shows and loves the freedom and experimentation found in writing for film. His interest in music started with jazz guitar which lead him to the University of North Texas. There he started to focus more on writing music than performing, and after getting a Bachelor of Music he studied composition at the New England Conservatory. His love for film music lead him to the prestigious Film Scoring program at USC where he was lucky to study under one of his favorite film composers Jerry Goldsmith. After a few years of sporadic gigs he has found consistent work doing additional music on blockbuster movies and TV series while scoring his own smaller budgeted films.
